This year, SEHS Learning Lab Specialist Lyndie Ark reflected on how coaching support from Kyra VandeBunte, Carmen’s Senior Director of Teaching & Learning, strengthened her implementation of Teach to One Roadmaps in Algebra Lab. Through intentional routines, stronger data use, and targeted student support, Lyndie created a more structured and engaging learning experience for students while building confidence in her own instructional practice.
Together, they introduced weekly target skills connected to Algebra 1 instruction, note-taking structures, and more intentional small-group support, helping to improve student engagement with math.
We are proud of Lyndie, Kyra, and the incredible work happening in Carmen classrooms to support student success, while modeling Carmen Core Values each day.
