I’ve been nothing but grateful to work for Carmen during this time. The choices we have made at Carmen are informed by parents, students and teachers, and I felt heard in the process.

Carmen prepared me for a future that I didn’t see for myself and I hope to make that possibility visible for my students. I am lucky to witness remarkable potential from my students each and every day and it is because of them that I continue my path as an educator at Carmen.

Carmen Schools is an awesome family-oriented school community.  It’s a place where you feel safe dropping your kids off.  I love the teachers at Stellar and Carmen Middle South.  It just feels like family here.

My advice for younger Carmen students is, never give up, ask for guidance, and step out of your comfort zone. Remember to ask for help, it really will pay off in the end. The rules and expectations at Carmen will prepare you for the future and adulthood.

The College Transition Office at Carmen assisted my family with the application, financial aid, and scholarship process. All of their support has allowed me to get accepted into colleges that I didn't think would be possible.

Thanks to Carmen and the support from my teachers and staff members, I was able to succeed academically. I had many opportunities, such as joining the All-In Milwaukee scholarship program and going to college debt-free.
