Graduating all students as critical thinkers and self-directed learners prepared for success in college, meaningful careers, community involvement, and family life.
At Carmen Schools of Science & Technology, our core values—Empathy, Belief, and Growth—are the foundation of everything we do. They guide our decisions, shape our daily interactions with students and families, and inspire how we show up as a community and achieve our mission.
Starting in 2026–2027, Carmen Northwest will relocate to the Harambee neighborhood, uniting our school’s legacy with a community rich in history, culture, and opportunity. This move to the former HOPE High School building at 3215 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive ensures continuity for families while creating exciting new pathways for learning, partnership, and growth.
This transition ensures stability for our students and families while expanding opportunities for partnerships, enrichment, and real-world learning rooted in community. We’re excited to deepen our connection to this historic neighborhood and to continue preparing students for success in college, careers, and beyond.
At Carmen, our mission is to graduate every student as critical thinkers and self-directed learners prepared for college, meaningful careers, community involvement, and family life. Join a powerful school community where our core values—Empathy, Belief, Growth—guide everything we do.
