Aaron Lippman, a familiar face at Carmen Schools since 2013, has a rich history of leadership within the organization. From founding principal roles at Carmen High School of Science and Technology to his recent tenure as Head of School at Milwaukee Jewish Day School, Aaron has demonstrated transformative leadership. With a passion for urban education and a track record of building strong relationships with students and families, he brings invaluable experience and vision to his role. Aaron’s commitment to fostering skilled, cohesive teams and his deep roots in Milwaukee make him an integral part of Carmen’s continued success.
Nikki Miller, a Milwaukee native, brings a wealth of educational leadership experience to her new role as Chief Schools Officer at Carmen Schools of Science and Technology. With a background as founding Principal of two KIPP middle schools and current tenure as Managing Director of Leadership Development at KIPP Nashville, she’s poised to excel. In her new capacity, Nikki will focus on cultivating strong school cultures, fostering academic growth, and nurturing the development of Carmen’s Principals, ensuring success across all campuses. Her dedication to educational excellence and commitment to student achievement make her a valuable addition to the Carmen team.
Michael Bradley serves as Carmen’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing nearly 1.5 years of experience to his role. He focuses on enhancing financial operations, strategy, and infrastructure, particularly in preparation for the expected conclusion of ESSER funds. With a rich background spanning charter school networks, public education, and various financial institutions, Michael oversees accounting, budgeting, compliance, procurement, grant management, and IT. Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael cherishes time with his family and enjoys grilling and biking in his spare moments.
Fabiola Ramirez, also known as Fabi, has been Carmen School’s Chief of Staff (COS) since August 2023, overseeing strategy execution and coordination. With roots in Carmen Schools since 2016 and a graduate herself in 2012, she brings deep understanding and commitment to the network. Fabi, born in Mexico and a first-generation college graduate with honors from Beloit College, has held various roles within Carmen, including teaching and Assistant Principal. Her passion for community and youth development is evident in her leadership, with interests ranging from soccer to exploring new eateries and enjoying board games with loved ones.
Beth Mesrobian is the Chief College Officer at Carmen, overseeing the College and Career team along with the Success Program. With thirteen years of experience at Carmen, she leads efforts in providing career readiness opportunities for middle and high school students, focusing on exploration, skills development, and social capital. Beth’s background includes managerial roles at Anderson Consulting and American Medical International, alongside significant involvement in educational and community organizations. She holds a degree in History from Princeton University and a certification in College Counseling from UCLA, balancing her professional life with interests in family, travel, reading, and learning Italian.
Dr. Ciera McNeal’s journey from corporate Human Resources to education was inspired by her grandmother’s legacy as a principal in Chicago. Special Education became her passion, leading her to focus on teacher recruitment and retention, eventually overseeing district efforts in this area. With a commitment to empathy and kindness, she emphasizes the human aspect of HR, a philosophy she carries from her roots as a CPS student in Chicago. Beyond work, Ciera enjoys cooking Jamaican cuisine, attending concerts, indulging in Disney and Harry Potter fandoms, and cherishing moments with her close-knit family. Excited to join Carmen, she looks forward to contributing to its continued growth and success.
Bobby Coburn, in his 11th year with Carmen, now serves as Managing Director of Operations, shaping the organization’s operating procedures and managing a staff of school operations managers and associates. He also acted as Principal Liaison,as the former Director of Culture & Leadership Pipeline Development, aiding principals in executing Carmen’s instructional model and advocating for them on the Central Leadership Team. With a diverse background at Carmen, including roles as founding principal and teacher, Bobby brings extensive experience to his work. Alongside his professional pursuits, Bobby treasures time with his family and enjoys the company of his wife, son, and dog outside of work.
Olivia Eagleson-Martinez joins us as Carmen’s new Managing Director of Culture & Leadership Pipeline Development. With over 15 years of experience at Bright Star Schools in California, Olivia brings a wealth of expertise as a principal, assistant principal, science teacher, and co-head of schools. Her focus will be refining Carmen’s student culture and developing a leadership pipeline for staff seeking advanced roles.

Andrew Faber, principal at Carmen Middle School, South Campus, brings over a decade of educational experience to his role, having served Milwaukee in various capacities from middle school math instructor to school principal. Committed to providing holistic education, Faber passionately advocates for opportunities beyond the classroom to nurture students’ unique skills and talents. His collaborative approach ensures a rigorous education that serves both students and the community. With a background in Elementary Education and Teaching from Concordia University and a Master’s in Administration, Curriculum, and Instruction from Alverno College, Faber is dedicated to fostering equitable educational experiences for all students, believing that college readiness opens doors to choice and access for every individual.
Janis Meinke brings a wealth of experience to her role as Principal at Carmen, where she has dedicated 14 years of her career. With a total of 23 years in education, Janis’s journey includes 8 years of successful leadership as Principal and 9 years teaching mathematics before joining Carmen. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UWM and earned her Masters in Education Leadership from Alverno College, grounding her practice in both content expertise and educational leadership.
Alyson Weiss joins us as the new Principal at Carmen Schools, Southeast High campus. Her transformative leadership style, rooted in equity and inclusion, aligns seamlessly with Carmen’s mission. With a background as both a superintendent and principal, Alyson has a proven track record of driving strong results and fostering community collaboration. Dedicated to benefiting our community and stakeholders, she is passionate about creating a supportive environment where all can thrive.
Ashlei Miller brings eight years of valuable experience in education to her role at Carmen Schools, where she enters her eighth year of service. Holding a Master of Education in Administrative Leadership from Alverno College, Ashlei is well-equipped to contribute to the school’s growth and development. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is actively engaged in her community, serving as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, and holding board memberships for local organizations. Carmen Schools is fortunate to have Ashlei’s dedication and expertise as part of its team.
