Fall Check-ins & Thanksgiving Break

Greetings alum,
It may feel like winter, but we are still wrapping up Fall check-ins. If you haven’t already, please take a minute to quick complete my “Mid-Year Review” survey, my goal is 50% of active alumni and I would love to beat that goal before the end of the semester.

Also if you need help with FAFSA/financial aid, I suggest that you sign up for a time to meet with me. Remember that FAFSA renewals switched from January to October so it is not too late to file, but I recommend finishing before December 31st.

I wish all of you and your families a safe holiday season and remember that I am here to assist if you need it.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Money is something we all need, but sometimes we face hard times and we may not have what we need to get by. We understand that life happens, and other groups are beginning to recognize that as well. The Great Lakes Foundation is working with some local school to provide college students with a case by case “emergency fund” to help students who are in a financial bind. This can’t help with tuition, but if you are at a point where you are deciding between books or food, this fund is for you. Read more here…
