Have you set up your Carmen Connect Account?
If you have not yet set up your Carmen Connect account, please take 5 minutes to do so. This portal is used by myself and Mrs. Kurter to communicate with all Carmen alumni and for us to better track our interactions so we can hold ourselves accountable for serving you. All you have to do is complete the steps below:
- Go to connect.gradsnapp.com/carmen
- Click on “Register Account”
- Enter your email and click “submit” (If this does not work email alum@carmenschools.org so we can update your email)
- Go to your email and open the message from GradSnapp asking you to “reset your password” and create a new password
- Complete the registration
You will need a biography in order to complete your registration, feel free to use the template below:

If you need help with any of the above we recommend you set up a time to meet with us. We are happy to help you out.If you are thinking of taking classes this summer, or are thinking of transferring make sure you check out Transferology to verify if your classes will transfer back to the school you are at or to a new school.
Financial Aid/FAFSA renewals

Verification is nothing bad, but it can be complicated. If you are feeling lost, confused, or don’t know why your financial aid for 2019-2020 isn’t viewable than you should set up a meeting for us to help you out. Use the link above and make sure you bring the items listed below.

Carmen Updates

Welcome to the Carmen Family! Carmen for the 2019-2020 School year will officially become a K4-12 program with the addition of Stellar to our list of schools. This partnership has been in the planning stages for a few years with Carmen taking on more of the management responsibilities allowing the leader and founder of this school do best serve her students.

May 1st in National College Decision Day! Our seniors as they get ready to join the alum family will be celebrating their post-high schools choices at our annual college assembly. If you are able to and would like to attend we would love to see you there.
- South Campus: Wednesday, May 15th at 2:30pm
- Northwest Campus: Thursday, May 16th at 9:30 AM

Thank you Dr. Hoben!If you have not yet heard the news, Dr. Hoben will be stepping down as CEO/Head of Schools of Carmen Schools at the end of the school year. This transition has been in planning for some time now so understand that this was not a short notice decision. Dr. Hoben as the co-founder of Carmen is so proud of what our schools have become and what you are esteemed graduates are doing. She is so proud of all of you and cannot wait to see what you will continue to do for yourself, your families, and this city. |
