College and Careers
Carmen’s mission is preparing students for success in college.
Through our College Transition and Post-Transition Programs, we are able to support our high school students AND alumni to and through college. Our College Team provides programming including college campus visits, college readiness lessons, Junior and Senior seminar, college fairs, college representative visits, parent workshops and newsletters, financial aid meetings and advising, as well as individual student meetings.
The College Team programming culminates in our Senior Signing Day, for which all Carmen students, staff, and members of our school community come together to celebrate the plans and accomplishments of the graduating class.

of Carmen seniors in the Class of 2024 applied to college and 97% were accepted to college

of the Class of 2024 graduates plan to enroll in college immediately following graduation, compared to 78% of Class of 2023
In addition to enrolling in college, the Class of 2024 is joining the military and enrolling in apprenticeships for careers in the trades.
All Carmen seniors continue to have a Carmen advisor who works with them for several years after high school. These college team members visit Carmen alum on their school campus to help them through action steps needed towards college graduation.
